My Homemade Rub-Onz Attempt

Hi there! Just wanted to share a project I worked on recently. I’m not totally sold on the turn out but it was a good first try and so I plan on removing the rub-on and trying again.  I purchased some digital art from my favorite girls at House of 3 then printed it out on some Rub-Onz transfer paper I bought at the local Hobby Lobby.  I found the mirror at my local TJ Maxx for a steal! I wanted to get your thoughts on it.  What I don’t like is that the rub-on shows so much of that milky white around the edges and within the art piece itself.  What do you think? How would you tweak if you were me and starting all over? OH! I just thought of something! Maybe I should make the background a solid color? Hmmm.  Help!

Good idea. I haven't been able to do anything crafty in months. With this move, it has consumed our lives. We move in 4 weeks and I will get to unpack and decorate and have some fun this winter. I started a blog and I want you to follow it. I am going to talk about daily life which includes reading, cooking, and decorating. Stop by.

Cute idea!
I agree that a background color may look nice, or even another frame around it that is easier to cute out... Like the Ho3 rectangle in the frame kit. That way you would have less border.

Just a thought!

I hope you are doing well!
I have been blessed with graphics work lately, and I have not had much time left over to blog. I need to get a post up soon!!

Hugs!
