Just wanted to share a card I made for a friend, her parents are celebrating their 50th Wedding anniversary! Isn’t that awesome, I will be 90 when my hubby and I celebrate our 50th ;)
I used a fold technique that can be found at this LINK and then just changed up the size to a 4” x 8.5” so that it would be a bit grander than the size the tutorial calls out. I then used a metallic Bazzill card stock for the base of the card and then I came across another metallic paper that I had on hand that was a contrasting color. I picked up a swirl pattern and added that as a third paper and then using my silhouette I cut some butterflies. I used a page from an old music book and punched out some circles to make flowers. I know they are showing up on many of my projects but they are easy and cute so I can’t help but add them to many of my projects. I added some gold metallic paint to the edges of the flowers and distressed them as well. The glittered buttons are from American Crafts and the Together Forever is a HO3 cut via my silhouette. The poem on the front of the card was printed on a transparency and attached with some glossy accents.
Hope you have had a great weekend, so sad that it’s almost over!

This is so awesome Nancy. I just love the metallics and your butterflies are great. I haven`t try to kut them yet.
I just fell in love with the word Favorite from House of 3. Great font.
Hope you get a great week.
