When I decorated the mantel I wasn’t loving the flimsy garland and that I didn’t put lights on it, the hubby said it looked fine but I knew it needed it. Then my blog BFF called me and told me what she didn’t like about it and asked me to make some changes, go figure it was the same things I didn’t like ;) That’s why we are Blog BFF’s don’t you know! I’m not digging the excess string of lights hanging where there isn’t garland though, will be tacking it down so they at least hang properly. I will spare you the photo, I’m sure you are over the mantel photos, LOL.

Your mantle is beautiful! I love the snowflakes too. I bought a bunch at Target and am putting them everywhere, they add just a bit of sparkle.
